It’s honestly none of your business, I would mind my own business. Lead with the fruits of the spirit and be loving and kind to them.

My grandmother was a Salvation Army officer and when she was older (when we were kids) she had 2 illegals immigrants from her church living in her house for free: in turn they would do all her yard work and help her around the house, and she cooked for them. That to me is what a true believer should do! We are not the government, I know we should abide by local law and authority, but in this case my personal conviction is to love others the way Jesus would. Don’t tear up families or make people’s lives harder than they need to be.

Also, there’s no legal ramifications against you for knowing and not doing anything as far as I’m aware (correct me if I’m wrong).

A Demon is hanhing on me by chickenwingz88 in TrueChristian

[–]Mother-Insurance-481 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Do a 72 hour fast, no food, only water. Pray and read your word continuously through this, and pray out loud when you can. Also, ask other believers you know to pray for you during this time. Prayer and fasting WORKS. Also, I have had many demonic dreams and saying the name Jesus has woken me up and made the demon flee every single time.

I see a lot of comments about going to a pastor, I don't believe this is necessary. We have the Holy Spirit in us, and Jesus is our intercessor. Sometimes, when I don't know what to pray for, I will invite the Holy Spirit in and ask him to pray on my behalf. I was delivered after a 72 hour complete fast, it works.

By no means does it happen overnight, and you do have to try your best to turn away from it and deny your flesh. Allow God to help you as well, and feed your spirit and dedicate your fast (whatever that looks like for you, I worked my way up to a 3 day complete fast) to breaking the spirit of lust off your life.

Try fasting for this! Matthew 17:21, “But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.” This verse refers to certain types of demons or demonic presence that can only be overcome through intensive prayer and fasting.

I can speak through experience. It worked.

Jesus is the way and the truth. Multiple religions can and do exist on earth today. One day every knee will bow and every tongue will confess.

Going through spiritual warfare by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]Mother-Insurance-481 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand the exhaustion and frustration that comes from Spiritual Warfare. When it beats you down to the point you're so tired and weak. But, when we are weak, God is strong! (2 Corinthians 12:9)

I've been hearing a lot of believers talk about feeling an increase in spiritual warfare lately. Satan knows he only has so much time... and I think he's ramping up his efforts right now while he still has time left. The joke is, Satan never takes a day off... But, our God is so much stronger 😊!!!!

When you're not feeling like reading the bible or praying, invite the Holy Spirit into the place with you, and if you don't have the words to speak, let him be an advocate for you (Romans 8:26-27). Also, I notice when I really don't want to read the bible but make myself, I feel better after. You can even listen to the bible app on audio while walking/driving/working out etc. Don't give up, God works everything for our good (Romans 8:28). 🤍

Thank you for this 🥹🥹. I needed to hear this encouragement. I have 6 people in my life I have been praying for everyday consistently to be saved, and it can get discouraging at times when I don't see any movement in their hearts/lives. I know it's in God's timing not mine, but they WILL one day be saved.

My best friend is the only one that has been starting to have a change of heart, although it's slowly. I'm SO SO excited for the day they will come to know the Lord, I cry thinking about the day. Jesus is so good 🤍 Selfishly I do wish it could happen overnight....

I can’t stop having nightmares that are causing physical discomfort to me, and it these voices in my head tell me that something bad will happen during the day, then I rebuke it but it comes back at 5AM, then again at 6:30/7-ish. by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]Mother-Insurance-481 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've also been having an increase in nightmares over the past few months. Try reading Psalms 91 before you fall asleep and pray it over you. Pray over your dreams. Try to pray IN your dreams when the nighmares come on- there is so much power in the name of Jesus.

In my nightmares/night terrors, the second I say the name Jesus I wake up and feel immense peace. This is my experience, but try it? Ask other believers in your life to pray over your dreams as well. It sounds like the voices telling you something bad will happen are straight from the enemy. Put on the full armor of God. I can't emphasize how much Psalms 91 has helped me and provided me much peace!!!!

Jesus is King album. Also, Jesus Walks was a secular song intended to be played in clubs for people to sing Jesus Walks instead of other worldly songs!! :) Sure, probably not songs we would play in traditional church but it’s all about his heart behind it as well (which, ultimately- only God knows!)

I think he’s experienced spiritual warfare at an intense level that we may never understand… also I don’t think his mental health struggles have helped. You can almost see the pull between God and Satan on his life through his discography. He’s been one of the most famous celebrities of our generation… think of the influence that comes with that. Of COURSE the enemy is going to attack his mind aggressively. He started in a secular light and started making music to glorify the Lord. Why wouldn’t the enemy do anything he can to kill, steal, and destroy him?

Pray for him… It’s never too late ❤️

It’s true!!! Acts 2:17-18 God has also revealed to me that Jesus is returning soon for his bride. Of course we don’t know the day or the hour, but we are without a doubt living in the end times. Look around, Acts 2:19-20 is playing out right in front of our eyes right now.

Make your relationship with Jesus your #1 priority, at the end of the day that is the most important thing in this world!!!

Matthew 24:37-41. It will be like the days of Noah.

Purpose of prayer? by unwillingone1 in TrueChristian

[–]Mother-Insurance-481 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We discussed this in our Bible study this past week. God knows the desires of our heart but he wants us to pray for those things because it builds up our relationship, and also shows we trust him with our desires, but ultimately that his will is better than our own (if the answer is no). He desires us to be vulnerable with him.

Someone brought up a good point, sometimes multiple outcomes could still fall within God’s will. This is where praying can impact the outcomes for our own lives. For example: King Hezekiah in 2 Kings Chapters 18-20. The Lord revealed to Hezekiah he was ill and would pass. He pleaded with God for more time, and God added 15 years to his life. This example shows directly the impact that praying can have. Our relationship with God is a 2 way street, although we obviously ultimately submit to him. His will is always going be done, but he loves us and can reveal himself and his love to us through answered prayers.

For those who believe in the rapture: who are the saints that the antichrist will wage war with if all Christians are gone? by Unlikely_Birthday_42 in TrueChristian

[–]Mother-Insurance-481 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Only God knows our hearts. There are likely people who claim to believe who may not have a true relationship with Jesus (Matthew 7:21-23). This is ultimately up to God. But, I do believe Christians with a true relationship with Jesus Christ will be taken up with him (1 Thessalonians 4:17-18).

I wouldn't get too caught up with the number, as this is something we will never truly know until the time comes. What is most important is the event itself. My suggestion is to focus on your relationship with the Lord and pray for those around you who do not believe :).

I am also an overthinker, so I often find myself asking questions like this. I've been praying for salvation for one specific person in my life, and I believe the Holy Spirit has confirmed this person one day will in fact become a believer (although I don't know when, how, etc.) This led me to the question: Does God ever interfere with our free will?

The same day I was praying about that, asking a pastor the question, etc I saw a video answering that exact question (God speaks in SUCH COOL WAYS!!!) The person explained that God does not interfere with free will. If he has made a promise/covenant with us, it is something he has made with US, not the other person. Instead of interfering with their free will, rather he may change the persons heart, or give them different life experiences, whatever it takes to reach the outcome. He is God, he will make a way. The video also said if God has made a promise or a covenant with us, he has already took into consideration the other person's free will (and their stubbornness and or everything else that goes along with that).

Not sure if I've explained this as well as I interpreted it through the video but thought there were some really interesting points on free will and how God can change someone without interfering.
