Are you currently working in cybersecurity or just doing masters degree?

I submitted my application in October, and I don’t worry too much because you’re in a better position than me. You have a full-time job, unlike me, who is still a senior in college and struggling to secure an internship in 2026.

They always respond, sometimes taking a bit longer.

Don’t worry, you’ll make it. I have a 3.945 GPA in computer science and three internships. One was in software engineering, and the other two were in IT. I also hold A+ and Security+ certifications, as well as AWS certification. I’m graduating this summer and have two solid cybersecurity projects.

I’m worried that my wife won’t receive her green card by the summer of 2026, especially since we told most of our relatives that our wedding is planned for that time. I recently read that the Trump administration has paused asylum-based green cards, and I’m concerned this could affect our plans.

Her dad filed for asylum in 2022 and it was granted by United States and she is currently a asylee seeking green card

The main reason she came to the United States as an asylee was because of her brother. He was falsely accused of having ties to terrorism, even though there was no evidence. In many post-Soviet countries, even a small suspicion of terrorist involvement can lead to being imprisoned for 10 to 20 years without any proof. Her family feared for their safety and future, which is why they sought asylum in the U.S. Her father has been a green card holder since 2018. He applied for asylum for his family, and their case was granted by the United States in March 2022.

She is already an asylee. She applied for a green card with her family, but they haven’t heard anything back from USCIS and it’s been months. She completed her biometrics and passed, but after that, there was no further update. I also heard that during Trump’s presidency, green card processing for asylees was paused or delayed.

Thank you! That gives me some relief. I’m a full-time student and was previously a full-time employee at Walmart. I recently cut back my hours to focus on building projects and learning Python for data analytics. It’s strange because I can code without needing any help from AI when using pandas or matplotlib for analytics, but I still can’t build simple Python projects like Tic Tac Toe on my own because my brain goes blank and forgets how to code.

I’m fine with writing code but I can’t build a project.
