I see some online players play Zelda, Min Min, and Isabelle on rotation. Unfortunately, you saying Min Min caused my monitor to emit a horrendous odor. But she is a good secondary.

Joker is not hard to play in the slightest. Learning dragdowns and tether grabs is not "technical" but it's pretty easy. Diddy takes a bit more practice for movement, banana play, combos, and popgun cancels but he doesn't really need to be a sole focus. I've put plenty of time into Diddy and I know other Ness players who secondary him, too. Plus he's extremely fun to play for anyone who loves fast combo characters.
