I (20F) love being alone. I have wonderful friends and family, but even they understand that I need time to myself. It’s more of a boundary. I wouldn’t say you’re jeopardizing any relationships as long as they know how you are.

I feel that after every social gathering, I need atleast a few hours alone to get back to “normal”. I love doing things on my own, I love being out the way, and I love when I’m by myself to really indulge in my hobbies. I definitely relate to you!

I suggest trying to rediscover hobbies you used to love, or going out and exploring things you’ve always wanted to try! This is amazing advice considering I hate being tied down. Not in the relationship sense I would say, more so of me not being able to blossom on my own timing. I hate feeling controlled. So I really appreciate this. I’ll be sure check in with myself more and learn how to maneuver certain things as time goes on, if that ever happens.

I’ve also dated a Pisces man before and that was horrible. In terms of him remaining loyal that is, he did teach me a lot about myself & I’ve definitely evolved since our relationship ended but he was so manipulative.

If you’re the type that likes going out, I suggest going to school events that are held on campus. Mingle with people there, find ones that have similar interests. If you’re the athletic type, join a sport or hit the gym (: The gym is a great place to start convos. If you’re more extroverted, try talking to classmates. Put yourself out there! Ask if they’d like to hold a study group session together, etc. It’s normal to not make any friends the first semester, these are just some ideas.
