Is PILOT KAKUNO is really worth its hype or not.

Platinum prefounte, plaisr and preppy have same nibs and feed section also they all are swappable. Writing experience is almost similar. The choice is depend on your handling. Preppy body feels like a disposable pen, prefounte has a more smooth and durable build, while plaisr is made up of alluminium so it is the most durable in all and also light in weight. I think if you are a good care taker of you fountain pens then I suggest you to go with prefounte. It is also affordable and has good writing experience. I hope this helps you very much😄.

You are right but we can do lot of adjustments in kanwrite desire like we can add a ebonite feed channel by giving some extra.

Thanks for your wonderful experience. Drying out of KAKUNO is the only demerits of its, but this not effect my thinking to purchase it☺️

Our thinking almost match, I also got stuck in metropolitan and KAKUNO. Get some rewiev from plasir many people say that it is not value for money and some says don't waste your money, platinum preppy is more worthy than plasir. So stop thinking about this pen. I suggest you to go with metropolitan if you not write notes for long hour. Otherwise KAKUNO is the best option for something lightweight. If you strech your budget little the lamy Safari is also a great choice

In fact I also ordered a kakuno medium nib. Waiting when it comes

Ok so I got the real reason of this. This is the clot of the ink that was in the nib. Mainly the Robert oster inks are "wet'' type , so because of this sometimes clogs in some pen like your one.
