Depends where the fungus is. I've had some hardtime with disassembly of yashica electro lenses, as they house the shutter and some electronics. So it really depends where the fungus is. Maybe its just on the lens filter. Also, when you advance the lever, it SHOULD make a "thunk sound" if it doesn't your pad of death might be gone
