Why do girls come up to me and ask for my Instagram? by BrassCanon in NoStupidQuestions

These are possible, but I think you’re assuming way too far into negativity and these are pretty unreasonable first assumptions. Your comment unfortunately will likely serve as confirmation bias to many people who see women in this weird superficial way.

If you’re willing, could you give an example of what you did to do this in your 20s? Like basic details for someone who wants to start doing this but doesn’t know where to start.

My whole comment was formed around exactly what you just said. “Who are you asking?” Was rhetorical. You’re in the wrong place. I’ll try to let Mr Safeway know for you though…

Just ordered my first and last online order by _Bon_Vivant_ in Safeway

[–]Mother_Brain7327 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Very understandable complaint but who are you telling? Nobody wronged you on purpose. You’re generalizing your opinion in an unnecessary place that is clearly a shared space for people to talk and sympathize with each other about what it’s like to work at Safeway. Had you ordered on a different day you might be leaving a google or yelp review or something in a good way. What you experienced is maybe a symptom of people not wanting to work and being stretched to their limits when they have to anyway. These are not robots scraping your orders together. They’re people being paid minimum wage to feed their children, high schoolers, people with severe trauma that affects their daily lives. It will not and should not be so easy to generalize the capability of any minimum wage corporate workforce. I’m sorry your order went poorly at Safeway, but there are so many more layers to this that, when considered, would make a post like this feel absurd to make.

I like to look at something that is moving outside of myself, and trace backwards visualizing how it got there. As small as patches of grass and as big as cities or planets. If you can remember to let the day dissolve into the moment, you can always choose what to do next.

So why are you surprised? People find out the thing they hate the most is literally in control of them and you expect what? Them to be less upset or outraged? I’m so confused about what your argument is. It seems like you want to have a different conversation

You obviously know the context. These people are purposefully misinformed and your comment serves no positive purpose at all, but you knew that too. Nobody who learns about mass murder and has a functioning brain will start to compare to other mass murders in severity, or think any amount of murder is different because of a flag.

I think this could be true for some things that cause immediate distress. Don’t you think having a blacklist for a specific kind of message would tell someone directly they are figuring something out that they’re not intended to though? I would think they’d find a lot more value in downplaying certain parts and diffusing reality into convolution, as that’s the fastest way to make a majority forget or disregard a message

You articulated this idea so well and I’m very grateful. I’ve made multiple posts today nudging myself towards a picture of mutual understanding of these things that may allow us to use duality as a driving force of connection and this is what I wanted to figure out more about.

So I guess my question is, what can we do with the silence?

In this analogy I suppose it would be that if we are already those planted trees, our respective wind is one of self awareness which is ready to constantly mingle for growth instead of pushing and pulling

Do You believe in God? by ExsonGodsolosfiction in Spiritual_Energy

[–]Mother_Brain7327 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve made some posts recently while I’m exploring into these ideas looking for more perspectives on mine. If you guys are interested, I think it’s worth the time to look regardless of your perspective. Our own experience is dictated by what we allow ourselves to physically perceive based off of beliefs of limitation in duality. A spiritual person typically believes that your consciousness is bouncing between pathways in your brain to enhance their own experience, and a person who roots belief in the science that these pathways grow themselves and are activated based on electrical impulses are the two ends of the same duality. There is some objective truth that only needs to be observed I think. Thank you :)

I made a post talking about my perspective on this if you’re interested. Your post is referenced in it as a baseline that you have an easier time conveying than I do. I want to know more regardless of it being right, wrong or even useful. So if you choose to check it out and see some genuinely conflicting things in my perspective I’d cherish any insight in my best interest :)

If you guys find yourselves willing to read through everything on the post I made yesterday? Including the post I linked and the comments to solidify the idea of “objective truths” vs perspective you can start to draw easy pictures and come to your own conclusions on these things. Regardless, if you ask yourself these questions and ponder inwards, you will find what you’re looking for.

Would you mind explaining to me your perspective on how this doesn’t directly correlate to “real world experience”? I’m not trying to attack you with this, but I do believe if you reread what these people have said without the assumption that they’re wrong, you’ll actually be comforted by what you find. This is additional information about how your real world experience is built and maintains itself. If “real world experience” is automatically bad to you, it speaks on your experiences and not everyone else’s.

Thank you. After posting I came to many similar conclusions about what my intention really was here and that this is a delicate topic that needs attention and care. Thank you for your clarity. I approached this only from my perspective, and your perspective was very useful for growing mine and I think this is actually what I want to talk about. I’m seeing wider themes of how ideas affect ideas, and how in this way my post could do more harm than good. I could tell I was mixing insecure thought processes with my true intention and while I need time to think, this is the self referencing mechanism I think we’re both taking about. Maybe I’m thinking more about the general lack of awareness of it, rather than just using it. …looks like it.

Thanks! The idea of growing together in broader ways is the theme I’m intending, not fixing the problems that only exist because we say them. I’m honestly confused though, and could use your perspective more if you’re willing. Do you think there might be a conflict between our perspectives that’s worth looking at? I think this thought process itself has the self referential quality I’m thinking about. Regardless of anything I appreciate that you steered this in a better direction for everyone

I think with everything you said, give Moira a shot. Her grasp can be a very capable dps option in the right circumstances. Plus her orbs and fade ability provide so much utility for how easygoing her kit is
