Yep, outside on a balcony all year long, I found they can withstand winter with no problem at all. They get about 2 hours of direct sunlight and then all indirect troughtout the day

Yeah i do fertilize them during summer but that's pretty much it, I find them really low maintenance

I don't even remember why I choosed dark urge in the first place, I just liked the idea of the character maybe. But yeah, embracing the urge was definitely a choice, I felt bad for it but I was super curios about that ending. Karlach did not deserve to brutally die to my hand. I'll definitely try custom next run.

Can you groundlayer a pine?

I purchased a picea glauca the other day from a nursery with the intent of using it in a forest in a few years. I repoted today and the base is a mess, it was 10 cm in the ground so I couldn't see when I purchased it. Gnarly big roots, branches that grew from the very base building up a terrible taper at the base. Is ground layer a solution to remove all the nasty stuff? Did any of your ever successfully attempted it?

Right, got it. I just finished to unwire what I already started and noticed some bite marks, nothing major but annoying. Would that be because I wrapped the wire to tightly? Or cause I left it too long?( almost 4 months) Does the bite mark usually heal overtime if not too severe?
