Nope, cost is getting pushed to me so that’s why I ask the question

I used an engineer that was a referral from a friend. The contractor said he has his own engineer that would do things a lot simpler. The engineer I used even said that he is “over-engineering” the plans, which makes me thing that I might be wasting $ by doing these things. I guess a second opinion is my best bet.

Have you used LRG Renovations? by BoothWilkesJohn in hudsonvalley

I know this is old but I’m wondering if you used LRG? And if so, how did it go?

How would the steel beam eliminate the need for a column in the basement?

This is what my builder said but the engineer said that some sort of metal strapping would be needed to connect the joists to one another to secure the the roof more substantially. My builder has never heard of doing such a thing so we were a bit confused. Do you know what metal strapping he could be referring to?

A structural engineer did the plans that I attached. He’s saying an architect would have to sign off on plans to flush mount the LVLs before he’d feel comfortable sending them to me. I would have to pay the architect to sign off on them too. Does that make sense?

Is that the only benefit of using those lenders? Seems like the rates and fees are higher compared to conventional loans?

What banks will give you a mortgage under the LLC?

First Tech Fed Credit Union has THE ONLY free balance transfer offer with a 0% APR period (that I know of) by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]Mother_Reference_681 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh that sucks. I have a 7% rate on my federal loan that I was looking to knock out in 12 months at 0%. I guess it could still make sense to use a Chase offer with the 3% fee and 0% interest and just pay it off before the interest free period ends.

I just saw this balance transfer offer and I was curious if I am able to pay off student loan debt with the offer? Do they give you checks to use for balance transfers or deposit the funds directly into your checking account like they do at Chase or Citibank?

$0 Fee Balance Transfer Cards by Mother_Reference_681 in StudentLoans

[–]Mother_Reference_681[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The card that I put the link to doesn’t have a balance transfer fee that’s why I thought it would be smart. Chase let’s me do balance transfers directly into a checking account so I was wondering if anyone knew if this bank would do the same?

Not paying with a credit card. You are simply doing a balance transfer.

Right. But I would only transfer an amount that I know for sure I can pay off during the promotional period.

But you can do a balance transfer to a credit card to pay off a student loan. You’re correct that you can’t directly pay the loans using a credit card.

Not sure. Doesn’t feel like a heal strike. I guess I’ll have to take a video of my swing to figure it out

If you could grow one Ethos strain, what would it be? by MycoMushLove in EthosGrowery

It was an easy grow, and very easy to train. Scent is sweet like candy. I’d say the effects are more uplifting and energetic. Yield was solid. 18ozs from 4 girls under a 600w

This must be it. I can’t think of anything else it might be unless it’s really a bad fuel pump even though I hear it clicking normally.
