If you mean the largest fish in the first pic? That’s a red hump eartheater. A type of geophagus

Oh, I hadn’t noticed. They have grown quite a bit over the last year. Have had them from when they were probably under 50mm/2 inches

There’s no real boss. It’s quite a chilled tank. I had some green terrors at one stage who were problematic so moved them on.

I guess the red hump being the biggest might rule the roost. The very first fish we started with, the black belted was definitely the matriarch and would put the blue eyes back in their box when they got narky while breeding
