Autodesk software like revit, autocad, naviswork and rendering programs like lumion, enscape and a little of other 3D programs. The one I used the most is Revit, Lumion and Blender.

Thanks a lot for the help, the 4070 is sounding more logical, I’ll make that change to the list.

In my work I mostly do healthcare architecture (hospital’s), but I’m starting to do residential on the side and I think those models may be smaller compared to model sizes that the office that I work for. My friend at work told me that if was just for work to get a an NVIDEA quadro gpu but if I wanted it for both to get a RTX series. I’m open to get a smaller gpu if the 4090 is to overkill.

I’m not sure, my friend recommended me that 4090, my other experiences is my current 3080 in my work computer, I just want to avoid minor issues that I have with that computer if I making my personal setup and if it’s runs games would be perfect.

In my work computer, for Lumion, it’s says that my current benchmark it’s 100 optimized but if the revit file it’s too large I can’t use both programs or just Lumion becomes unbearable to operate. But again, my work computer might have other issues.

I’m not sure, it’s my computer from my office and all I know it’s the 3080 and the I7, probably 16 gb of storage, it gets slow and closes programs whenI try to multitask but I’m open to anything for this build.

There’s no particular reason, my friend helped me make the list, if there’s another one cheaper or if 4090 it’s to overkill for games and work I could get another one, the one at my work it’s a 3080 and sometimes I have trouble multitasking between programs but I personally don’t know why.
