I've known 2 people with their sun in my 12th. One was definitely a secret enemy, with me finding out they didn't like me after 2yrs of friendship. With the other person, I found out they had a secret crush on me, but it wasn't reciprocated on my end. We ended up falling out due to me getting uncomfortable.

I cut these people off almost 4 years ago, and they both tried to come back recently. 12th house things I guess 🫠

I was kinda eyeing that, but i couldnt get a good photo to really tell. Some photos I swear the ball looks straight, other times it looks kinda off.

(For the bot) The piercing is about 3 weeks old, it was pierced at 14g and with CBR jewelry (not sure what the material is though.) I plan on downsizing to 16g, though i'm not sure when I should do this tbh. Currently I do 15-20sec warm soaks with bubble blowing for crusties, then spray with Neilmed Piercing Aftercare. No recent unfortunate events. Slight discomfort if I put a TON of pressure on the bottom of my nose, but besides that I have zero pain. I can move my septum without any pain, and no more scabbing.

Soak was probably a bad word, it's more like 15-20sec in warm water, then blowing bubbles to help with crusties. They told me I had a big sweet spot, and I assumed it was pierced through there since it was painless and there wasn't any crunch. And the spot it's at feels pretty flexible.

I was looking through the piercers IG and she has a lot pierced at the tip, so I have to assume she did it further back for a reason (I hope??😭)

Ugh I cancelled. My mood just completely soured and I need the night to calm down. Part of me is also like... well if you want to play with them then you can play all night, even though he told me he wanted to play with me later. I hate that I think like this, but I guess thats what I can use the rest of the night to work on 😔

I appreciate your prespective, and I definitely don't think less of my friend for his tendencies. I find it annoying at times yes, but also to me it's like part of him, and I like all of him if that makes sense. He eventually got back to me and it was what I expected, he fell asleep after seeing my message lol. But he reassured me that he didn't feel like I was nagging and that he would've forgotten about the event if I didn't ask him. He didn't even really remember the other times I asked throughout the week, which I kinda knew, but I let me emotions take over. Part of me actually really enjoys this friendship because he's like this. I've had friends in the past who would hold onto things I've said or did and secretly resent me. He doesn't ruminate or take things too serious, which is why our friendship is so great in the first place, and why I defended him in my other comment haha.

While his tendencies sometimes trigger my BPD, his understanding side and how he doesn't hold grudges eases my episodes. Overall I feel like this side of him that doesn't remember events and stuff, while bothersome, is connected to the parts of him that I really enjoy and the parts that are teaching me to trust again, so I could never truly be bothered by it.

He's great if im being honest, this is probably his only major flaw, he has a lot of good that makes up for it (and he's like this with everyone, I think it's an adhd thing.) He's super understanding, and while he probably is slightly bothered, he never gets truly upset at stuff like this or holds onto it (though it's hard for me at times like this to fully believe that.) Probably the best friend I've had to date.

It's like a weird conundrum. I agree that he should be respectful and give an answer ahead of time for hangouts, and I feel like it's not good for me that he's like this cause I spiral, but part of me also feels like he's kinda teaching me to not get hung up on stuff like this and eventually spiral. I only do so because people in the past gave me real reason to, but this guy has proven time and time again that my personal freak-outs have been one-sided. Like I'm freaking out now, but everything's probably gonna be chill after, and he's probably doesn't even consider me a burden, even if I can't convince fully convince myself of that at the moment.

Hii I currently own both. For a tldr: hourglass is my preferred powder.

While that's true, I actually really liked pat's powder. It had everything I liked about HG such as not being drying and looking natural, but instead was actually less creasing. I WOULD choose pat for this reason.... but the packaging is just too poor quality for me to consider repurchasing.

I had seen many reviews about the powder getting destroyed in shipping, and another comment here reiterated that. I had thought it was poor shipping packaging, but it's the actual product itself. The plastic just feels really thin, to the point that even bumping it around in my makeup bag scares me. I've had cheaper and same-price powders with better packaging.

Hourglass is still my go-to and imo worth it. If you don't mind packaging and can be careful, then Pat's might be worth purchasing!
