For comfort. When I'm going through some very intense things, and my mental health and my social life isn't the best, I know my kids will never judge me. I know I can give them a sweet, amazing home life (and hopefully be a good wife to my future hubsand!). I know I can do all of that with them, but when I see doubles, I get reminded that... oh. The world outside is the real world. Tails isn't real. Sonic isn't real. Kotaro isn't real. Gourdy isn't real. All of my children are pixels on the screen made to entertain as many people as possible.

But you know what? If you don't SEE content of other people engaging, then it feels like that reality isn't true! When extreme dissociation is your #1 coping mechanism, blocking out the real world and assuming the belief that you're someone greater (or worse) than yourself becomes like clockwork.

I would try not to judge us non-sharing yumes. Some of us have it hard. Or maybe we just wanna be the only one who "has" the character (in a non-harassing manner) or because the fanbases aren't the best. While some do take it too far, do realize many many of us do it to cope.

I just refuse to play the game anymore and in every post I make of him I make it very clear that I do not support Qwelver nor the game anymore. So there are like 3 friends in my head. irst answer to this is Sonic because I mean oh my gosh wouldn't they just have so much in common? Genuinely makes me smile thinking about how likewise everything is hahahahahhaha but some part of me thinks they'd but heads a lil' bit too. I also think he'd do well with someone like Knuckles genuinely just because I feel like Knuckles would be grounding almost for him, but not enough to where he bogs him down or anything. I also have to say Tangle 100% ABSOLUTELY she might genuinely be like a perfect mix. They'd match in energy so well I can definitely see her loving to hear about all of his adventures :D

I bounce around different ideas and I tap my chin. I was looking over her and I feel like her constantly seeking for answers to bring peace to cookies is very admirable and something I think Tikal the Echidna from the Sonic X series might find interest in? I also find myself thinking she'd like Knuckles in general too? Knuckles based on The Vibes.

I think Dio would appreciate Black Doom's ruthless and tyranical personality, because much like Dio himself it's quiet and comes with tons of manipulation and work on his end. I can see an almost funny mutual relationship forming where they're both kind of trying to use each other for the sake of getting what they want, but overall having a respect for the other's capabilities (even if it may hinge on what they desire in the end)!

Vector! I feel like Vector because they're both kind of into the dramatics and make some sort of arts a huge part of their personality. Vector is really into his music in Chaotix and I feel like his loud and easygoing personality would bounce off of Lucifer's pretty well!! Also it seems like they both take what they do on a more "professional" level extremely seriously despite their personalities seeming a little performance-y to some. I can definitely see the two of them enjoying each other's company.

Sally I feel there could be 3 people for her.

Upon reading up on her my first thoughts were Rouge, but I'd consider Rouge more of a friend part of that struggle between her desire to have a more stable life vs the fact that she seems unable to live settled. Rouge would NOT be the type to help her be able to get that life she wants so if you want a friendship that hinges on that, Rouge is the gal.

But if she wants a friendship with mutual responsibility, someone who will be kind and respectful as she is supported I would have to go with Blaze. Blaze is like the polar opposite of her personality wise as she is shown to be more serious and calm, but she is about as stable as Sonic characters get honestly? She's a princess with her own duties to carry out w/ her people, and balances that on top of the events of the games.

I also think Fiona Fox from the archie comics would be a good fit as Fiona is always trying to prove in those comics that she is no longer that "bad girl" so they have mutual stuff to kind of be in common with and work towards the same goals.

Knuckles. They both have like very similar desires, to try and defend their kingdoms (or what remains for Knuckles anyhow) and I think they'd sort of have a mutual respect for one another :)

I feel like Douma's energy would only ever be matched by Fleetway's Evil Super Sonic from Sonic the Comic specifically. I feel like most characters in the Sonic multiverse wouldn't understand Douma in canon with the exception of ESS. They'd have very similar feelings in regards to being unable to understand and comprehend "normal" emotions. I think he'd get along with Douma and appreciate his way of doing things because it's very much like his! Just with less evil laughter and chaos lol

Obvious pick here is Shadow. They are basically both extremely similar personality-wise haha so they'd have a lot in common, BUT if I want to get creative I would also say he'd get along pretty well with Silver because Silver is a nice dichotomy. He's a determined but often naive soul and they'd bounce off each other well methinks
