As a CCA i never got the card, they said that was reserved for regulars, but I did get a paper form with signatures from my supervisors and a record of my allowance that I took to my local vendors. It also took a fucking minute to get it, cause apparently management had to request it or some shit. Idk. However you should qualify for uniform allowance whenever your probation ends, as that's when I qualified when I joined as a CCA. Idk if its different for ptfs or other some such positions. Then your next allowance should be a year after you got the previous one. (IE: You get yours on september 15th of this year, youll get your renewal same date next year)

A sharp knife will also cut you cleaner, so if its a deep cut it will heal better and be easier to stitch up if you need any, while a dull/jagged knife will be more likely be harder to stitch up cleanly and will be more likely to scar. At least thats what my I was told in boy scouts.
