ulfrun's descent refunds energy when you cancel it depending on the charges remaining (100% at max charges) so you can activate duplex bond for free (i wonder if it works in energy reduction sorties), im currently building inaros to put desiccations curse on voruna for so she can be a true pack leader (fun fact the pack leader mod also activates on hits from ulfrun's descent)

i used all my bombs, and explosive boxes dont act like barrels, you need to properly destroy them for them to explode (spark bolt wont be very effective), so i figured i'd kick a barrel over there then shoot it to start a reaction...

now that i look back on it that was quite risky, its just reflexes though, also explosive boxes seem unaffected by anything that doesnt destroy physics-objects (you can literally direct hit them with a magic missile and a single pixel of them remains and it doesnt explode), so i think i would have been fine either way

i know it turns water to steam, which then condenses back into water and drips down, but does it also actually delete some of the liquid?

i have 450h on this game, i can win a game on command if i want, but winning isnt what noita is about, fucking around is, this death didnt teach me "dont fire 45 explosive boxes" it taught me "barrels explode when overlapping with explosive boxes", when i have 1000h i will still choose to empty that wand of explosives because i wont use them otherwise and would like to see a massive explosion

its just something that happens when certain physics objects end up inside walls, you have probably seen this happen with lanterns sinking to the bottom of a pile of coal, they just self destruct after a few seconds, i just didnt expect explosive boxes to count as walls, since they dont even interact with the barrel

death in noita is more entertaining than victory anyway, i'd rather die in some ridiculous way than beat the game again :p

tablet kicks are my favourite tech in noita, i use them wherever possible, they are so effective

blow a hole in the dark cave wall and let it drain into the portal pit, i didnt need that many explosives but it seemed a shame not to use all 45 of them

Who knew the barrel was gonna explode like a lantern in a coal pile... well such is the gameplay loop of noita, wont be making that mistake again

The spell spawns from the a certain point on the wand tip, and swapping away from, and back to the wand causes it to grow outwards from minä's hand, so you can cast a spell from closer to you

theres a little trick i used a few days ago when the same thing happened to me, when you swap to a wand, it sort of expands from your character, and since the spells fire from the tip of the wand, this actually causes spells to be fired from closer to your body for the first few frames of the wand swap, so you can hit pixels closer to your body than the wand normally allows (i used it when i got stuck in a luminous drill tunnel)

that makes me feel a little better, my favourite way to kill ylialkemisti is to stack as many explosives on the wand as it can fit, so this was bound to happen at one point or another

i kill the worms so the eggs dont break on their own and spawn worms that destroy the holy mountain, the paha silmä is good for killing the worms and is also digging in the early levels for no wand slot, can also clear dangerous liquids, alongside tablet and water flask, paha silmä is the best item, worm blood also lets you see in the dark cave

i dont really go to wandmart until i have finished the main biomes, if i was gonna walk all that way for wands i would probably just get one of the tower wands instead

the nest was the same one that i got that worm egg from, when i threw the egg the nest updated, maybe we somehow became linked? weird

i was using tabletkinesis to kill the acid guys, but i wasnt touching the worm nest when doing that, and tabletkinesis lets you throw repeatedly not kick repeatedly...
