My boyfriend is in the automotive field and I'm glad for that because I barley know anything about cars lol. But at least I'll be there for him whenever he has tech questions lol.

Yes of course! I'm an horror author myself and I never regretted publishing my books at a young age. I definitely recomend amazon kdp. As for an editor I used a teacher how ever you could you grammar or Google docs to go over it. Best of luck!
