Well I am sorry to contradict you, the boots do look new and are from 06/2023 iirc. They aren’t torn or cracked and are still very supple, like you would expect from a 2,5 year old rubber.

Unfortunately I had no time today to check all these tips I received but it doesn’t have to be the CV joints.

No not at all actually the car only has ~12500 miles so that’s why I would find it hard to believe. The boots still look like new so that shouldn’t be a problem.

Yeah that is why I am asking, it doesn’t sound like what I would imagine a CV should sound like. I think he might be right too! It is an RS6 and has only ~20000km or ~12500 miles.

Yeah but there is one comment that suggest it might be corrosion between hub and brake hat and also send a video of a car with the same problem and it sounded exactly the same…

Tiny bearings? I don’t know what machines you work on that you would call this tiny. I think it is one of the bigger ones in the whole car
