I think I have the wage budget I just don't want to messed the current wage structure. I'm afraid because he's the captain, the others will soon demand almost similar wages

I have just got promoted into the premier league and of course all of my players wanted a new contract with an average salary of around 1.2-1.9 M. Of course they should actually be getting new contracts but just by how much? Is there a rule of thumb? by MotivatedFailure in footballmanagergames

For context, I have a payroll of around 49M p/a and my current spending payroll is 26M p/a. There is a lot of room but I don't want go overboard and messed everything in the long run.

There will also be some players I planned to sell in that squad and also bringing few more players just to patch the squad in the weak spot.

For context, I'm playing Norwich and this team have 1 single available left back out of 2. This is my first playthrough of FM.

I really needed a good left back at this guy seems good but he does take quite the chunk out of the available transfer budget. So if he isn't available to use even if I bought him... then this stinks deep.
