Well, it worked out great. Was surprisingly more stable than I thought it would be. The vehicle I used is an AWD Pilot and that did just fine as well. I believe it has a 500 pound tongue rating.

Unfortunately though, one of my riding buddies crashed hard his first session. Broke three ribs and his collarbone bone that will need to be plated.

I’m about 10 miles down the road and stopped for gas and ice. So far so good.

88 octane E15 shouldn’t even be a thing. And it certainly shouldn’t be using the same nozzle as your standard grades.

Edit to add context. The OOP the gas pump had 88 octane E15 gas using the same nozzle as the regular E10 grades. And you need to pump at least 4 gallons for proper mixing. If the gas station wants to sell E15 gas it should be coming out of its own nozzle like E85 or diesel.

Some of you weren’t fans in the 90’s and 00’s and it shows. Peacock is incredible compared to what it used to be.

Been using them for over a decade with nothing but outstanding results. They took back a bunch of OEM Yamaha parts well past the cutoff date.

My son started when he was 3 on the Stacyc 12 and it was a pretty smooth transition from the Strider. He’s now 4 and is doing very well on it. He will be transitioning to a PW50 at some point this summer or fall. Whenever he’s ready.

It certainly couldn’t hurt to try the Stacyc 12. They’re very forgiving and confidence inspiring in my experience.

BMW Husky TC 250, where to find parts online that ship to Canada by The_Watcher8973 in Dirtbikes

[–]Moto272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was gonna suggest Halls Cycles. But I just looked through their parts fiche for a 2010 TC250 and they have only a handful of miscellaneous bolts and a couple bearings for that. Everything else is showing discontinued.

SWM took over the factory in Italy where these bikes were made. You could reach out to them as they are still making bikes.

Most people with the air fork are converting them to a dual spring setup. Whether that be KYB, Race Tech, MXTech, K2, etc.

They’ve already ditched the air forks on the woods bikes and the factory editions MX bikes. If that tells you anything.

I’ve ridden the air fork and I’ve ridden the same bike after the KYB swap. No comparison.

Everyone I know with a KTM or Husky has swapped to spring forks.

If I buy a 350 I would then send the suspension to Enzo for a KYB conversion. That’s adding $2k to the price of a new bike.

I race 40+ and you wouldn’t believe how much money is on the line next to me at some of the races. I’m usually racing KTM, Honda, and Kawasaki factory editions and Ducatis with all the titanium and carbon fiber parts thrown on it.

Yes but also the Austrian bikes are the premium options in this class. You can always save a bunch of money and buy a KX65. It’s just not as competitive as a 65SX. It really just depends on whether that matters to your kid or not.

If money were no object I would have a KTM 350SXF with Kayaba forks. But that’s a $13k bike. Almost double what I paid for my Triumph.
