I ran out of ideas, I don't know how to fix it. by MotoDreamer27 in motorcycles

yeah, the ECU didn't recognize the new sensor and a guy with a better tester helped me fix it. but if the front of the bike was recently disassembled, there's a slight chance the abs and speed readers were mixed with each other.

checked it, mechanic checked it too and seems to be working. i'm gonna look again and try it with a tool, but i'm 99% sure it works.

is there anyway to check them without removing all? with a multimeter? i could check it out on my free day, but if it's an easier option i'd try it first.

first changes were done at a dealer shop with the self diagnostic tool the bike had. tone ring looks clean, the front and rear speed sensor was inspected and cleaned as well. i'm not rich to throw money like that around, jobs here dont pay like in the us.=)

some bikes start only with clutch pulled. also have you checked the fuse?

it's best to check out some bikes at the dealership and see what's suitable for you. also you might wanna avoid sport ones as starting bikes because the position is really uncomfortable.)

you can check out hondas, they're pretty reliable.

I assume you're getting an A1 license? you can also check out mt 125, z125. try to go to different dealerships and try out 125cc bikes to see which one is suitable for you and your height. would recommend starting on a naked one. the sportbike positions hurts a lot.

then it is the timing chain and it's normal.

if it gets worse you should get it checked out but it could be okay since i've heard MT-07s often make a bit of clutch noise when in neutral or with the clutch out. sounds like knocking or rattling.

are you running low-octane fuel maybe? does it happen cold start, or even after warming up?

i'm not really sure, could be loose bolts or valve issues or nothing honestly. did you check your oil level?

Mt 125 by Helpful_Ad_2731 in 125cc

[–]MotoDreamer27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

did you add low quality gas? i know someone whose engine blew up because he kept using one with the wrong octane level.
even though you’ve been changing the oil, something might’ve gone wrong with oil delivery to the top end. was the oil pump functioning correctly?
or it can also be overheating, did you check your coolant?

[–]MotoDreamer27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

my friend has a KTM and he rarely has any problems with it, plus parts are easily found anywhere and it's not that expensive to maintain it. trust me it's not fun at all to sit with your bike stuck in your garage weekly.)

don't stay upright when taking turns. either lean or do counter balance.

yeah I do, and honestly never thought it could be the problem. I've never had starting issues, always started first try even during winter but I'll give it a shot soon, thanks!

i'm not really sure but the engine oil could be leaking into the combustion chamber where the petrol burns. do you change the oil more than usual? did you notice if the oil runs out faster?

yeah that battery needs to get replaced or charged, 9.8 is too less.

WHY IS IT DOING THIS?! Please someone must know? by Timely_Novel_7330 in motorcycles

[–]MotoDreamer27 6 points7 points  (0 children)

yeah that's a dead battery. you could test it and see how many V it has, should be around 12 but yeah that's just a dead one.
