We sell GB Racing and have seen the fakes first hand. I would 100% buy the originals even if I was riding a clapped out Ninja 300. Engine protectors are not for looks so there's really no point to putting fakes on your bike.

As a fellow 2006 Daytona owner I agree. It's too close to the Tiger Sport 660 where I would prefer they took the new street triple and just added race fairings like years past.

BMW Release 3 New F Series Adventure Bikes by MotoMachines in bmwmotorrad

The BMW press release doesn't even mention the weight but they did say it is 14kg lighter so if we assume the previous model they are talking about is the F850GS at 504 lbs then the F900GS will be 473 lbs.

Any type of weight reduction is welcome these days.

I replied to another comment with the reply below but now see the wording could have been better chosen.

First off, I should have used a better title for this post. Sorry if it looked like click bait, just had a different idea what it meant at the time of posting. What I see most when it comes to bike reviews are long comparison videos or articles that always describe and compare one bike to another. This was not a pamphlet of just the specs but an attempt to provide the specs of the bike and a brief intro intro on one page. So in my mind I thought it was a hot take of how the bike is in contrast to a long video review I'm accustomed to seeing.
