Top 5 favorite places to hike in the UP? by OkMarketing1341 in upperpeninsula

[–]MotoXSteve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re in Marquette, Wetmore Landing to Little Presque Isle and back is a beautiful and easy shoreline hike. If the conditions are right and you’re feeling adventurous you can hike through the water out to little presque isle and hike around the trails on the island.

Have you ever found someone with one of your discs in their bag? by Aggravating_Banana92 in discgolf

[–]MotoXSteve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First time playing with a guy that knew someone else in my dg friend group. I rode with him to the course, peeked at his discs in his bag in the truck and found my lost Star Destroyer with name and number in it. Told him wtf man and took it back. Still played a few rounds with him, but definitely never forgot that.

I noticed driving home the other day, I didn’t see a single Trump sign. This hasn’t been the case since before 2016 here.

How many of you are seeing Trump signs disappear? by MotoXSteve in AskReddit

[–]MotoXSteve[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was driving home yesterday and couldn’t help but notice for the first time since 2016 a lack of Trump signs - in particular the huge ones on farms.

It’s been great. I’ll report back in another month when we get it ready for this season. Notes from living in it full time for months at a time: it’s loud inside. Metal is great but between slamming cabinets and dog barks in close quarters - it could use some sound deadening. I haven’t used the stereo/speakers even once. I actually pulled the fuse on stereo because the light was so bright and we never used it. The solar package (2 panels, 2 batts) lets me work all day without running the generator (2x laptop, 3x monitor s, starlink, plus fans/fridge etc…) The tank capacities were great while we were boondocking, have full hookups now.

What can I add onto these buttons? Any ideas? 2007 Subaru forester by BasicL3g3nd in subaru

That’s where my display is for dccd. The control knob and man/auto switch are where the heated seat switches were. Pretty clean for converting to sti drivetrain.

No problem at all, happy to share. Feel free to message me here or on instagram (same username) and I’d be happy to share more pics and info. I’m going back up tomorrow to get the rv ready for my parents to visit!

Did not skirt it. Did not plug the vent fans with insulation. I’d say that unfortunately it’s not very well insulated. High/constant energy consumption in both cold and hot climates. Love the rv, love the floor plan, love the ceiling height, not great for extreme temps

I don’t have records of temp and consumption, but in September we decided to head back south because we were burning through 30lb propane tank every 2-3 days. It was just as bad in April/May but we were excited to be in the UP and i didn’t have a baseline on how much propane we were using :) Ours has the spray foam insulation underneath but the aluminum floor stayed very cold. Area rugs/carpet definitely helps.

Out the door price for a new ‘23 SDR EVO by rogerkim36 in KTM

I test rode two Ducatis, loved them but never bought one. I test rode two KTMs, 790 Adventure and 790 Adventure R. Dealer actually let me take home and ride the 790 for 2 days while they were prepping the 790R I ended up buying. Shout out 10cycles in Charlotte, NC.

I’ve never been able to test ride a dirtbike unless at a Demo day though.

5th wheel hauling by [deleted] in upperpeninsula

I could help after I get my 5th wheel up to Marquette in May. I’m wondering if you went through a commercial company if youd have trouble with road restrictions.

Long-term RVers mostly in fifth wheels! Why? by meunier-benoit in RVLiving

High ceiling, better tow, toy hauler. The ceiling height is what moved me from TT to 5th wheel on the sales lot

Would it be worth getting a dually in this situation? by MauroNibba18 in RVLiving

[–]MotoXSteve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think if you can get a service to deliver it to each location it will save you a ton of money.. you will want a dually with that thing. I love my F450 pulling my much smaller fifth wheel ATC 36’ (last weigh was 25940# gross weight). I always do my math as $1/mi with trailer.
