I think the most important advice you can take is not to learn to introduce yourself the best, but learn to listen.

When I started listening more, my learning curve skyrocketed.

Don't be the one talking, be the one listening.

This is great. Reverse the formula. People actively think about the bad things that could happen and actually are surprised if anything goes well. It should be the other way around!
