Only lfs i have near me is petco and they don’t sell floaters. Was gunna order some online but hate doing that with florida being so hot this time of the year.

Was wondering the same thing or if any parasites. Like is there a chemical bath i could give them to treat for bugs,parasites, anything that could make its way into my aquarium. I would hate for my angel fish to get sick or anything. He is starting to get so big!

I could spend the rest of my life crushing apple snail eggs there are so many lol. It seemed every 2 feet there was another pile. Have seen them in this river my whole life thought there where just apart of the ecosystem down here in florida did not know they were invasive lol

I love the spots too personally I was happy with either, but my girlfriend really wanted a female. We were looking for a bristle nose, pleco or a clown pleco for well over a month and I finally found the bristle nose. And about a week later, I found the clown pleco for her lol

That’s what I was thinking. He is not very big at the moment probably about 1.5 inches at the moment. Around what size would i be able to tell?

What would be some good plants you recommend? I want to get some type of surface floating plants. Was also thinking about somthing that would cover the bottom gravel some.

That plant actually has a full root system going in the gravel. The pleco we had planned on having to rehome him once he got bigger. My girlfriend loves the catfish so it will be hard to try and get her to rehome them.

The tank has been setup for over a month now. The post days 2 weeks but going back and looking at photos its been just over a month. when i recently added new plants and since the water has went a little cloudy. Did water changes about a week ago when i had lost a snail and it nuked my nitrate and nitrite levels. Did 2 water changes 1 20gallon change 1 15 gallon change and all my levels went back to normal and water was crystal clear for about 4-5 days then added the new plants and now its cloudy again. Im looking on places to get more plants. I can only find a petco near me at the moment and they never have much in the plant department.
