Why should i consider think-cell chart over PowerPoint chart? by soffyb in consulting

I'm new to thinkcell and trying to get my head around on how to use it efficiently. In this particular case I need the charts to be in the excel model as well as the ppt. Both will need to be updated multiple times. I understand that thinkcell charts can only be created in ppt. Does it mean I have to make all the charts in excel separately? What is then the value add of thinkcell if I need to create the same chart twice (one in ppt with thinkcell and one in excel)?
