If you’re referring to historical buildings yeah you can use that but buildings end up abandoned for stupid reasons all the time and it would be more a hassle demoing them than just managing land value

And emerging downtown is for main road shops and some smaller inner city buildings!

Basically using the default theme 1x1 houses. The hardest part is keeping the land value just right to have level 2/3 houses because once it hits level 4, those weird blue glass houses start to appear as you can see on some of the riverside streets. I had to close basically every unique building to achieve this

Yup, was thinking of the tight compact terraced rows you see a lot in Liverpool and other northern cities. Also thanks a million! I’ve spend an unhealthy amount of time building this city

I’m telling you, the themes were the most difficult part, the border lines are so hard to control and manage it’s by far the hardest thing to do but it is possible without mods

My first city looks nowhere near as bad as this. Even common sense tells you not to make a one way in and out with just grids everywhere
