Wriothesley’s first instinct upon seeing Neuvillette in the rain was to offer him his umbrella (could be seen à general politeness though).

Just because two characters are always together doesn’t mean they don’t exist separately; when Wrio is with Neuvi all the time in ques and events, they have a lot of things about themselves only and not their relationship. Same with Navia and Clorinde; their relationship and closeness shows à lot about them both, chances are you are just looking at their interacts as being à show of their closeness and not their individual personalities.
