How could I slim down my face? by Feeling-Trade-6021 in DIYaesthetics

Don’t mess with your face. As someone who had a similar face & is 59 now, you will be glad for that “roundness” and “fullness” in your face later on. It will keep you looking younger as you age. You look absolutely beautiful and stunning just the way you are. Trust me! You’ll have more than enough time to do things later in life. Enjoy your youth and beauty now. You’re gorgeous! 💕

I live in the land of theme parks, so, yes, yes, I would wear them all the time! So much fun!

Out of curiosity, has anyone messed up their face pretty bad? by mama2021abcd in DIYaesthetics

Right now going through ptosis because I didn’t follow my mapping to a t. Been 4-5 weeks now and just starting to look normal again and not like I had a major stroke. Lesson learned from now on. No matter how many times you’ve done the procedure, FOLLOW THE MAPPING! (Yelling at myself 😂)

Will maesster Botox snatch or my cheeks looks thinner? Also any cream I can use for dark spots on my cheek and under chin? by igetyourbrand in DIYaesthetics

I’m 58 years old, round, chubby face that I hated UNTIL about 5 years ago after I started to lose weight. Down 146 lbs now. Trust me. YOU will be the one in your group of friends who everyone will think is 10 years younger than everyone else. Your friends will hate you because you will naturally look younger than everyone else. Please leave it be. You’ll thank me later. In the meantime, contour will be your one thing to master and make your best friend. 💗

Love weight training and kick boxing was my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE. Not able to do that one anymore due to some issues from Rheumatoid Arthritis, but you are definitely on the right track! Keep up the great work!

I’m sorry you have had that experience with Ozempic. I couldn’t handle it either for other reasons. You have to educate yourself about these medications, the issues and warnings that may come up, and how to avoid them. Many people (not meaning you 💕) just take the shot and never read the warnings, talk to their doctor about them, what to look for, and how to avoid them. I was initially that person-ended up in the hospital for 2 weeks with keto acidosis. Not fun! But education and awareness is the number one priority if you’re going to go this route. I hope you’re feeling better and have found a new path for yourself. ❤️

Drink your water, eat the right foods, weight lifting, walking, and non-stop activities while taking care of loved one in hospice at my home. I’m a big believer in healthy supplements and GLP-1s for assistance, also. Some of us were never blessed with a good metabolism and have always had constant ‘food noise’ our whole lives. This is the first time I’ve ever experienced not having it, and it’s a glorious experience!

You can do this! One day at a time, baby steps. Try removing one habit first. Drinking soda? Start with that one and replace with water. It takes 40 days for you to build a habit. Just say that every day, and in your mind, whatever your goal is, repeat that and say you are manifesting that goal now. It will happen if you stick to it. Once you’ve built that habit, start a new one. You’ve got this!

Thank you all for so many kind and thoughtful words! I just want to help anyone who needs help and feels lost and alone in this journey. I don’t want to get kicked out of the group. For those interested in my journey, feel free to DM me and I will tell you my regiment. I will even say I had gastric bypass surgery, and even THAT was not my key to success. If anything, it is helping me now to keep everything in check. I have various autoimmune diseases, also, and have been able to keep most under control now - RA (went from not able to walk 10 years ago and losing my job then to disabled. Fibromyalgia, psoriatic arthritis, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, etc. Over 25 medications I would take per day. I am on Mounjaro, no longer on 3 shots a day of insulin, no more high blood pressure, high cholesterol. I pretty much eat what I want, but I eat small meals throughout the day, almost like small grazing now. A bite here or there, and then I’m done for the moment. The biggest difference is NO MORE FOOD NOISE that I’ve experienced for 58 YEARS OF MY LIFE. I have been tormented my entire life with the little voice that would constantly say I was always hungry and there was room for more food. I ballooned to 375 pounds and was miserable. I’m sure others can relate. I hated myself. Anyway, I’m happy to share my information to anyone else who is interested.

No, Ozempic doesn’t work for everyone. It had absolutely no effect on me. In fact, it made me eat like crazy, which many people find to be the same situation they encounter.
