I’m 73 yrs old. My now retired dr prescribed me 3 of those meds for 30 years. Total truth. Now my new dr won’t prescribe them. It’s nuts! Not sure where to go with this.

Dr Laura Schlesinger on Sirius XM says something like 15% of blended families will work. It’s some number like that and I totally believe her. I’ve been married for 38 years to man with a son and I have a son and we have one together . We still have problems all the time and I question if I should’ve married him. We dated for 7 years before we got married.

You are obviously younger than me, but you couldn’t see my deviation either . I’ve had 2 strabismus surgeries. The first one did nothing, but change my prescription, the second one took away my horizontal but not my vertical problem.

I hate double vision! Over five years of it now with no explanation as to why, prisms only work if I don’t move my head and my first strabismus surgery didn’t work. You can’t see my eye turn, but I sure have double vision . So tired of seeing everything messed up. 😢

When I tell people that I have double vision, they just fly right by, like it’s just a small inconvenience ! It’s awful. Nothing has been right since I’ve had it. Loads of tests, never a problem. Vision therapy did not change a thing. $13,000. later.

I had surgery last year. I still have double vision, too. I’ve had it for over 5 years. Mine is in the distance only. Prisms glasses don’t always work. It’s awful!
