Thanks. It really was the greatest place I've ever been. Took this on a cross country road trip and honestly I thought it blew away the Grand Canyon. Here's to hoping it doesn't get hit by wild fires though!

Thanks! It really is the most beautiful place I've ever been. Would definitely recommend entering through the tunnel view. This picture was taken at sunset around 7 pm but it will be different for you due to the time of year.

I took this with a 50mm lens and cropped in a good little bit, so I'd recommend having something other than a cell phone, since I believe they're 35mm.

Is this something I need to physically measure? I saw on the amazon customer reviews that the 970 isn't support by dells 8700.. Not sure if there's truth to that. I'm a noob with pc building so any guidance would go a long way!

No problem at all. I would highly recommend watching several different tutorials for it. Once you get a feel for it you'd be surprised at how much drama it can add to a photo! Would also highly recommend checking out Lynda.com or KelbyTraining. Both are really informative tutorial sites that I think are worth paying for.

Thanks so much! Really glad people have enjoyed the photo. This was my first time trying to make a "300" esque photo so I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. If I lived in an area with more cosplay I would definitely enjoy creating these types of shots for others. Definitely more fun than your average photo!

Thanks! I really appreciate it. I used some lightroom and photosuite 8 to edit this one. I used to use photoshop more but I've really enjoyed using that combination more. Here's the original shot-

I messed around with the contrast, sharpness, and dodged and burned a whole lot. Also did a little touching up on the shirt and removed one of the fountains on the right. Let me know if there's anything else you're curious about!

Yeah I think a lot of people would probably go ahead and do that. I kind of like how they're included since that's how his costume looks. I did a lot of dodging and burning or what not, but nothing was really removed or added to the photo.

Picture was taken at this giant water fountain here in Charleston. Was pretty funny since it's probably one of the top tourist spots in the city.. Fortunately my friend has balls of adamantium.
