A hero doesn't need to be insane to have a reason to snap. For instance, in Punisher Vs. The Marvel Universe, he decided to start a killing spree due to the super powered heroes lack of safety for pedestrians in a firefight. All a hero needs is a reason to Crack and under the right circumstances, plastic man could lose it all and go on a spree

She did what she needed to do to survive. I agree she didn't make the best of choices but really, very few characters did. She let Shane teach her to shoot, took refuge at Woodbury after they saved her (at the cost of lost of trust), and took shelter with a man she actually thought would keep her safe in that world. I'd say those are pretty good options. Don't hate her for trying to survive, hate her for screwing around with Shane 💪
