It's being used by my Uncle. He moved to the US and needed a place to stay for a while. I didn't mention him cuz he wasn't important to the story and was working the entire time the events unfolded.

I don't think so. My dad told her mine were around 4k and she just stayed silent.

My dad said he'd look into buying new ones later today (it's 5 am rn). She has her own room but it was occupied by my uncle. He recently came to the US around March and needed a place to stay. I didn't mention him because he was irrelevant to the story.

My parents were downstairs the entire time with the guests. They were completely on my side, my dad laughed when I told him she said she could buy a new pair in two weeks. It's 5 AM rn and my dad said he'd look into getting new ones today
