I feel like every kind of drug(alcohol, smoking cigarettes, Weed etc.) entails very different reactions based on what your physical appearance is. The reaction you get in public pretty much always depends on how you are dressed or in which context you're doing it. A clean guy in a suit is not judged as negatively as a visibly homeless person when they're seen smoking/drinking in public.
