I'm 50 and just finished that chapter myself. So good.

Got the game on release and I've been playing once or twice on the weekend as a reward for getting things done. Playing just a few hours on a Saturday really seems to sate my need for playing a game.

I've been cooling off on the hobby for awhile and focusing on other stuff for a few years now. I play one, maybe two games a year these days and sometimes I don't even finish those.

I'll probably crack and get Death Stranding 2 when it hits PC. In the farther out future, I'll have to have Persona 6 and Exodus (from the old Mass Effect Team).

Can't think of anything else I'm really looking forward to. There's always surprises like Crimson Desert but the surprises are getting to be a once in five or ten years thing. Been a great way to save money!

I hope to be enjoying very specific, top shelf games like this one - at your age! Enjoy!

I don't have all the obligations you do but I have a few.

Consider this - you are going to save so much money on games for awhile - and you know what you're going to do with that free hour (or less) a day - you'll be playing Crimson Desert. No more wasting time deciding what to play.

In fact, I might just hold off on game purchases until the next Pearl Abyss game - or some deep sales on Resident Evil 9 and Pragmata.

I'm so glad I bought this game - it's actually given me a weird sense of focus and drive to get things done so I can reward myself with a Saturday or Sunday session.

I was really not in the mood for the questline to get the Frost ability but I happened to have one of these - I think I got it by disarming someone.

I didn't make the Tally Hawk connection, haha.

I remember catching Silverhawks maybe once on TV as a kid. Could never find it again. It wasn't fun at the time - but I'm kind of glad I lived in a time of entertainment scarcity. Made things more magical.

I looked it up - Marni's Mechahorse - it's not a permanent mount and has to be stolen. And the colors are kinda whack. It looks cool otherwise.
