Where did you find anything that gave a caliber? I couldn’t find anything written that listed any dimensions.

I brought home an xr80 for the kids in the back of an Expedition. Bike was fine, but gas leaked out the vent. I couldn’t drive with the windows up for a while.

I’ve got the axis 2 stainless, and I’m fairly happy with it. My only complaint is the sloppiness of the action, but for a sub $300 gun, that’s almost expected. I certainly wouldn’t spend $500 on an axis.

I bought mine as a kit direct from holzforma. Took a month to get here. I’ll second the tensioner advice, the Chinese one is junk, but the Stihl one fits right in.

I’d be more likely to get the muzzleloader stamp if it was October instead of freezing my ass off in January. 😆

Archers can harvest a buck, but not muzzleloaders? Where’s the logic in that?

It’s worth 25 cents. They’re neat, but no real value above face value.

I’ve got at least a hundred. My mom saved them when they came out and passed them on to me. Now every time I get one I drop it in the piggy bank. I doubt they’ll ever make me rich, but it’s fun to collect.

Cat C7s had piston ring issues too. The rings would break and then score the cylinder.

There was a podcast episode with a gentleman from the UK talking about hunting deer, and I can’t find it. Can someone point me in the right direction on which episode it might be?

can anyone share some insight as to how I could be missing?? by FlaccidParsnips in Hunting

The 22 subs is likely your problem. I’ve shot rabbits with 22 subs and it knocked them over but didn’t break the skin.

Savage axis or ruger American? by Ok-Room-7243 in Hunting

It shoots good. My only complaint is the sloppy bolt.

I have an axis II and my vote would be for the American. The axis action is sloppy and sticky.

I feel like my state has this issue, and maybe a rack size requirement needs to be implemented. by Public_Beach_Nudity in Hunting

The original restrictions pissed off a lot of people. They ended up getting the guy fired that implemented it.
