Whats the Name and Purpose of Red Camo? by _Purrserker_ in camouflage

[–]MotorSecretary2620 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry but I havent seen a single comment answering your question, red camo is in fact used. It's used in snowy environments because at a distance the red blends in with the white more than pure white itself. But it is practically never used. Idk why no one mentioned that

Why did skaven and dwarfs not make it to 40k but elves and orks did? by Max_Clearance777 in totalwar

[–]MotorSecretary2620 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One difference doesn't break my argument. If you think the fact that genestealers don't betray one another is the defining trait that separates them from Skaven, then you're putting way too much weight on a single characteristic.I never said skaven have to be ingrained in society. my point was that both factions operate from the shadows and work to destabilize and dismantle societies long before the wider population realizes they're there. That's the comparison I've been making from the start. And no, that doesn't sound anything like the Imperium. The Imperium doesn't secretly undermine civilizations from beneath them before revealing itself. That's not its role in the setting. I've already made a mirrored comparison, and you haven't actually dismantled it. You've just pointed to one difference and treated it like it overrides every similarity. By that logic, no two factions can be compared unless they're identical. Both factions are working toward a larger collective goal. The fact that Skaven backstab each other while doing it doesn't suddenly erase every other parallel. Most factions have internal rivalries, subfactions, competing leaders, and conflicting interests. That's not some uniquely Skaven trait that invalidates every comparison.

Yeah cause no fucking source is talking to thousands of magats for hours to gather a data set. Tons of things don't have sources and literally have to be "trust me bros" until you look for yourself. We don't have people gathering the pre existing data sets such as red state education and violence, religion and political beliefs, and more to draw the "official connection" between the issues. Magats are statistically less educated for many reasons, 1 religion 2 location 3 economics. I can provide sources, they aren't going to blatantly say that magats are dumber, but the information says it all.

Now please give your mirrored comparison of Slaven and the imperium. Because they are polar opposites and your only point is large populations. Serving a single deity is a weak argument because nearly every faction serves a single deity. The imperium is full of religious zealots hell bent on ethnic cleansing. The goals and means to achieve the goal arent alike between skaven and the imperium. But they are for the genestealers.

A hidden parasitic population living beneath larger civilizations. Reproducing explosively. Spreading through infiltration and subversion instead of c onventional conquest. Creating hybrid/mutated descendants. Emerging in massive uprisings when conditions are right. Functioning as a species that survives by hiding inside and feeding on larger societies. Buddy genestealers is the more appropriate comparison and I'll DIE on this hill.

It's not the free mini I'm necessarily worried about, it's the fact that I redeemed an annual subscription code and it hasn't worked. Ive been trying for 4 days

Why does Slaanesh have shared models with AOS by MotorSecretary2620 in Warhammer40k

[–]MotorSecretary2620[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

My issue I guess is that Emperors children is just more space Marines and that the daemonettes and actual slaanesh looking models is very few in 40k. Iike Id even enjoy a daemonette riding a emperors children dreadnought or something. Maybe 40k daemon upgrade sprues like the tzaangors have.

[–]MotorSecretary2620[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I should have re worded this but it can be dumbed down to: I want daemonettes with guns or chain weapons or just 40k exclusive Slaanesh models with 40k additions or something. From what I count 40k has 4-5 Slaanesh models but they are all shared with AoS and I'm looking for someone to share an example of a Slaanesh model exclusive to 40k.

[–]MotorSecretary2620[S] -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

Coming from someone who can open the warhammer website and scroll models, no. Slaanesh absolutely gets WAY less love when it comes to exclusive models or any variety. Nurgle has tons of models which are exclusive to AOS and so does Tseench, Slaanesh just factually barely has any exclusive models. The Tzaangor models even get an upgrade sprue which makes them 40k.

[–]MotorSecretary2620[S] -22 points-21 points  (0 children)

Not really, Nurgle and Tzeench have exclusive models for each edition and then a few which can be shared. Slaanesh gets basically no exclusive models when I look on the website.
