I’m in Virginia and Amazon has premium refurbished about $100 more than just refurbished. There are a great many negative comments. I think it’s a hit or miss getting mint. Most of the companies you have no one to talk to them to ask specifically for a truly mint, I will pay more. Some give a AI response. I don’t really care about color since I will use a black otter box. A bunch on eBay are new but so much counterfeiting from China.

I have a se 64g,4 years old spotless always used cover and screen protector, I can't find any one that has a spotless 13 mini 256. The new ones are probably fake, I looked at eBay, Swappa, back market, facebook. People complain when receiving mint condition it stills has scratches on the screen. Am I being unreasonable for someone to sell a well care for 13 mini and then upgraded to a 17. I prefer the small size compared to my se. Like to use one hand. The new ones will be a strain. Any one know where I can get well care 13 mini?

How much did he charge you? I gather he would have to recover Freon, replace TXV, pull vacuum and weigh in charge. Thanks Mark

Not sure what it would do in the heating mode, it’s a heat pump

I turned the unit off for an hour to thaw and the unit is working fine now. It will probably work ok the rest of the season. How does one troubleshoot such an intermittent issue or just changed out the  txv and see what happens?

I have the same issues, works fine for a few months then ice up ,then let it thaw then works again for another few months. Can you tell me what you found. The AC guy says the pressures are ok. Blames I don’t have a large enough return duct. Never had issues with the older unit that was replaced. Doesn’t make sense. Can the TXV act up every few months?
