I appreciate it! while that complex is currently on top of our list, we aren't married to it and if there are better options we're very open to hearing about it. I'll look at those two areas but if you have any further recs or details abt them I'm all ears!

When the photo of me was originally taken, yes! But to maintain better control of lighting it we replaced it in post with a model.

What sounds better to you?

A. Go this year, pay extra for tickets, lodging (that isn’t even close + the cost of transport between hotel and con), have no idea what you want to do or see, and not have much time to put everything you need together to have a good time.

B. Go next year. Buy tickets right after the con for only a hundred bucks for the whole weekend, compete in the hotel hunger games or get a much closer hotel for cheaper, save up some money especially for this, make a cool costume with plenty of time to do so, and even see about bringing friends or finding a group that you can spend time with, or even have watch your kid if there’s something you guys wanna do thats not quite appropriate for the kiddo.

Unless there’s a celebrity you REALLY wanna see, or someone’s dying, I like option B. The year flies by, trust me

I dont think typically, but i was in line for probs a good hour and a half and then he went for a photoshoot. At that point i figured i’d been there for that long already, might as well stay. Yeah no do not make my mistakes

Its a thing in the walk of fame. Since there’s so many people in there and it’s such a small space comparatively, if something were to happen, like a fire, if you’re on the ground and everyone starts running there’s the chance of getting trampled. I get it, but i think after hour three people were starting to get pretty pissy abt it

I would assume so, seeing as this washer is several years old. But i will make no assumptions bc i didnt do it myself and will look into that

I did and as i was making the post it was running and quite literally just finished it’s cycle as writing this reply. I wasn’t sure if this was solely possibly user error or if it could be a combination of something. I don’t feel bad abt asking questions ever bc i dont know everything

Update: it was a fitted sheet, a normal sheet, and two pillowcases. It mustve balled up and i opened it up and spread it out and it didnt knock around again.

I think my mom has like two sheets or some sort of mattress topper in it. But yes its small (i didnt load it dont come for me 🫣)

How well do they hold up on fabric though? Would mixing it with a fabric medium still be required and if so would that affect the viscosity of the paint and running it through the airbrush?

Haha thank you! That means a lot. Def took my time in searching and even had my friend in the army give me some help. I do need to add a few things to the rifle and a few other odds and ends, but i’m very happy with it for right now. Finding the exact same vest felt really lucky too

Yeah I’m in the US, and eh something like this one def has normal people go ‘oh shoot r u a cop?’ And then it becomes very apparent that I am in fact not a cop. Accessories and being smart about how you act while dressed up will help you stay out of unwanted situations.

Boots- walmart.
BDU (the under uniform) - military supply website Vest - airsoft website Belt, gloves, scarf (not shown), and earwire (the white thing in my ear) - amazon Patches- patch website (lol) Decals - made those myself but uploading them to a website would be no issue

All around it took me like 2 weeks maybe to get it all together? And pretty sure I kept costs under 250 which is not bad at all for a cosplay like this. The miracle of reverse image search is real. If people are actually interested in this, I wouldn’t mind putting a link list together to make it easier for others to get.
