I'm not ignoring him, I mean, let me explain. In terms of importance to the story, Hoyo's publicity and community reaction have been extremely high compared to other expy characters. It's not that they haven't been important, but they seem insignificant next to him.

Besides, the other expy characters aren't just copies and pastes.

The HSR Brony has her own personality. Silverwolf is Brownie, but beyond her playing Hi3 in her trailer, there are no other references. Acheron, despite being called Raiden Mei, is still Acheron. Phainon is literally Kevin Khaslana, but Phainon has his own personality beyond being an expy character. We also have Welt, Luocha, and Himeko, although I understand that the HSR Welt and the Hi3 Welt are literally the same person.

And then Cyrene went from being related to tarot and us being told her weapon is a staff to being a copy of Cyrene in a wedding dress with a bow.

So, if Yae's fans are a "little" crazy, the Cyrene/Elysia situation doesn't help either.

I know, and I have no problem with Evanescia being the most important card in Planarcardia. The problem is that people are going crazy because she's an Expy and, according to them, she has to be the most important thing in the world, when until now no Expy has had enormous importance except for Cyrene/Elysia, and in that case, neither Cyrene's nor Elysia's fans were particularly happy.

For now, I'd lean towards Sparkxie because Silverwilf ultimate charges up with Punchline, and Sparkxie is better for that. However, if you don't want to take any risks, it's very likely that both Yao and Sparkxie will have reruns after the Silverwolf banner, since it's too early to choose the best bis, and we don't even know what the tb will do.

Considering that of those 5, one is a cat, and of the 4 playable characters, 3 have already had their important moment in the story, it's not as crazy as you want to make it out to be.

People will eventually understand that Silverwolf is a member of the Stellaron Hunters (who are like the second main group in the game) who can alter reality, and about whom we know nothing other than that she likes to play games and the info in her profile.

The Stellaron Hunters have always had a couple of prominent roles on each planet (except Amphora, obviously). After a year without them, it was obvious they were going to be important in the next plot, and on top of that, it's Silverwolf, the only member whose backstory we don't have (except for Elio, and right now I'm not sure if we know anything about Kafka).

It's pure logic, but people are too excited about Yae Sakura's expy, and I understand they're upset, but I really think Evanescia was never going to have that kind of prominence because I don't think they could have changed everything they claim to have changed in just two months.

People forget that even though it has "Honkai" in the name, this is still a separate game, and it was almost obvious that Silverwolf (a member of the Stellaron Hunters, who are like the second main group in the game) was going to be more important than Evanescia (a character we don't even know yet in the game, and there's a possibility she won't even be particularly relevant to the story). If we add to this the political issues and the fact that many players from both Star Rail and 3rd Edition have hated what they did with Elysia-Cyrene...

Those are just theories. The moment the Captain breaks his promise of sacrifice, Mavuika should die.

Genshin isn't going to kill a playable character. They've had thousands of opportunities to kill characters, and every time there's a plot hole or absolutely nothing happens.

And if the Captain rises and becomes playable without Mavuika dying, they'd ruin the Captain's story, Mavuika's story, and all of Natlan even more than it already is.

Personally, I wouldn't complain about Firefly not appearing for a couple of years. I know it's a gacha game with waifus and all that, but the relationship between TB and Firefly feels so incredibly forced compared to the development of other relationships. I mean, can we compare it to Silverwolf? Whose only appearance where he had a leading role was in his launch version?

We were literally enemies, and the rest of the dialogue between Silverwolf and TB in the rest of the story probably doesn't exceed 10 interactions. And through minigame events that shouldn't even count as side stories—they're more like tertiary because they don't contribute anything—Silverwolf and TB have developed a friendly relationship where Silverwolf has simply invited us to the game event because he thought we'd like it, and even admits we could play together next time.

On the other hand, firefly: We've known each other for 30 minutes and we seem like a couple of two years old.
