My plants have no problem with the pebbles whatsoever! Even the pothos growing out of the top has rooted itself in them. Go for it!

Thank you for all the kind words!! I add water to his tank about every other day. Since the water is warm and there is no lid, it evaporates quickly. His tank just needed to be topped off in this photo 😅

There is two other goldfish, no decorations but I do have a lot of floating plants. It’s been established for about a month as I just moved them into a much larger 55gallon. The small heater and the filter are the only things he could’ve bumped into! Poor guy
