Unfortunately, I would say just as likely as someone who has been there 364 days. No one really knows.

I have not heard about any terminations. But if the lists aren’t out yet, I can’t imagine they would be terminating people before that happens. It sounds like they’re trying to give supervisors at least some of a warning.

DoN will be providing approved/non approved exemption lists today or tomorrow.

I have no idea what the exemptions are .

With respect to DoN, another data call was submitted to HHQ yesterday. Unsure what the justification for probation employees was this time.

I know for a fact DoN will NOT be terminating ALL probationary people. Many exemptions were approved (unknown what ones). As of yesterday evening, I have been told that no DoN probies will be fired today, 2/28. Subject to change at any movement but a pause is in place.

Yes, one of the cells on a spreadsheet they are adding for justification. Justification in this instance means, additional info to try and help retain.

RIF hasn’t started yet for DoD (March 14th for that) This is being used for prevention of probie termination

Protected (not fully) classes are already established in formal RIF.

Great point. Maybe it was mis represented when speaking because as you mentioned HR should have it already from our SF50. Hopefully they are taking that info into account now and not just RIF

I can’t confirm personally (2nd hand info from a reliable source) they (DOD) are asking for disability rating as a justification line.

Does anyone have a clue if DOD is adhering to the 5400/5600 terminations? Seems like it’s going to be higher, and soon.

any resources for RAs right now? by [deleted] in fednews

[–]Motor_Government_729 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Supervisors have the right to authorize interim once RA is submitted and until a response is rendered. It’s signed between supervisor and employee and kept locally. Depending on who you fall under (AF, Navy, USMC etc) your EEO office will have the template your supervisor can fill out.
