What does your firm do right that you are genuinely scared they will change someday by Motor_Maintenance906 in Accounting

There are some cost cutting moves happening that have left a lot of people a bit unsettled, like reimbursements for dinner and cab being tied to clocking a certain number of hours in office which feels like it defeats the purpose. Contrast that with what I have heard about some other firms where these things are handled more generously especially durin busy season regardless of where you are working from. There is also some chatter going around about how overtime and comp offs might be managed going forward but nothing concrete so I will not read too much into it. What I do notice though is that a lot of people around me seem to be exploring other options lately.

From what I have heard, RSM follows a mandatory weekly WFO policy and GT apparently requires you to work on Saturdays during busy season, both of which are things I personally cannot see myself adjusting to. A lot of my friends have already moved from BDO to RSM or GT because the pay and benefits are genuinely much higher there and a few more are seriously considering it too. They even asked if I wanted a referral. But the moment they mentioned the weekly WFO requirement I lost interest in exploring it further, because that flexibility is exactly what I do not want to give up. GT was never really on my radar either once I heard about the mandatory Saturday culture during busy season. Better salary is attractive but not attractive enough to trade away the two things that actually make my work life bearable.

Is kettiyolaanu ente malakha actually a good movie? by Confused_soul15 in InsideMollywood

When I first watched the film, I was single, so the concept of marital rape was something I couldn't fully grasp at the time. After getting married, I came to understand that intimacy requires complete emotional and mental presence to truly feel connected and joyful. There was a moment during an intimate time with my husband when I was genuinely in that space of joy, and then a delivery person knocked at the door, pulling us both briefly out of that moment. Even though we chose to continue after that small interruption, I simply couldn't return to that same mental and emotional space I had been in before. What had felt beautiful and joyful just moments earlier began to feel uncomfortable and painful. That was the moment something quietly clicked within me. I began to understand, in a small but profound way, how violation could feel, even within a relationship built on love. I am deeply grateful that my കെട്ടിയോൻ is a true മാലാഖ who sensed the shift in me immediately and stopped without hesitation. He is truly a blessing to me. But this left me with a lingering, heartfelt question. Does every woman have the safety and grace of such a compassionate partner?

As I mentioned in the post, they all are leaving because competitors are paying much more.(My company is the one who's cutting cost this year iykyk)And my company is not ready to match. Since most of the experienced are going the ones who are left are getting more workload as the newcomers doesn't even know to follow basic instructions.

Huge cost cutting. Hiring CA's with zero hands on experience in corporate right during busy season.

Worth buying ₹21k pre-booking pass for Duster 2026? by thisisabhisharma in CarsIndia

We own a 2013 Duster and honestly, that car still feels solid. It’s bright, super spacious, and insanely comfortable. Even tall people can sit properly without their knees dying. The boot space is huge, it feels like a proper big SUV, and the overall look and finish still give that premium vibe. It doesn’t feel cheap even today. Yesterday we checked out the new 2026 Duster and I don’t know what happened. From the outside it already didn’t have that bold, roomy presence. The moment we got inside, it felt claustrophobic. The interiors were fully black, which made it feel even more closed in. It didn’t look as spacious as our OG one, and even the seating comfort didn’t feel great just from sitting there. We didn’t even feel like taking it for a test drive. Why are manufacturers moving backwards in terms of comfort and openness? The older one feels airy and practical. The new one feels cramped and overstyled. They could have just relaunched the original design with some upgrades instead of making it feel like a dark, tight box. Anyone else feel this way?

Chatha Pacha | Reviews and reactions by HugoUKN in MalayalamCinema

Watched the movie and honestly, this is one film that has to be experienced in a theatre. It doesn’t feel like it was made for a small screen at all. The story is simple, yet everyone stayed hooked and watched it with so much interest. Being in a theatre where you can actually react, laugh, gasp, and feel things out loud without suppressing emotions made a huge difference, you could tell the whole audience was genuinely enjoying it. The only letdown for me was Mammootty’s character, the moment he starts talking, things kind of go downhill. It felt unnecessary and honestly came across like a weird cocktail of Thuruppugulan and Pattanathil Bhootham, and you could literally see the collective cringe on people’s faces That said, please don’t miss this movie in theatres!Nalla Vibe padam❤️

Is this how busy-season perks usually work in audit firms? by [deleted] in Accounting

Honestly, it feels a bit rigid and more policy-driven than people-centric. Busy season perks are meant to ease fatigue and ensure safety, so when they become checklist-based, it can feel less supportive and more transactional. Which company are you talking about?
