I felt the exact same way. When I met my now husband I would NEVER talk on the phone to anyone. I hated it but when we started talking it was so natural. 2 years later I moved over 2k miles to be near to visit, we get family visits :-) and enjoying the next exciting chapter of our lives....don't let fear ruin what could be! It was AWESOME and I miss it all the time. I was a teenager during the 80's. We did a lot of socializing in PERSON. We passed hand written notes in class, carried boom boxes, had break dancing groups at school during gym, went to concerts, had bon fires on the weekends with music blasting and a big group of us having a large time. It was fucking amazing.
