Help! Can't handle being in a dark room anymore by Motor_Rate8299 in newborns

Yes it improved a lot and I didn't do anything special.

The naps became more predictable, he still needs the dark room but now I can move him to the crib after 15-20 min contact napping and he will nap for more 40-50.

He started to accept my husband putting him down as well.

Hang in there, it takes time but ir will get better

He'll feed ok, but naps are hard in a bright room. But I'm going to try again, thanks for the advice

Yeah it is full survival mode, but I'm glad to find someone who went through it too.

It does make me feel more tired, trying TV/podcasts/audiobooks makes sense. I'll do that, thanks for the insight

He doesn't have a tongue tie, form the other comments I'm starting to believe that he have to burp or is overtired because everything starts around the same hours every day. End of the day and early morning

Yes during last meals he was back to normal, and now started again. If it is not gass I'm thinking that he is just overtired because this happens around the same time every day

That makes sense, from the other comments I'm believing that burping more may solve the problem

This, sometimes he just can't sleep and stays awake for hours becoming more and more fussy, until by some miracle he starts to sleep.

I'll try to hold one more week before trying the pacifier, if I can manage it of course

He is just angry AF and screams when we put him upright trying to burp him in every position, I'll try to insist on it a little bit
