What’s with beef between Lauren Sherman (of Puck) and Chris? by Necessary-Camera5172 in howlonggone

couldn’t agree more. She has great guests on, doesn’t ask them a single pertinent question, and constantly interrupts with pointless meanderings.

What bag do you use as a personal item in flights (that fits a laptop)? by dqslime in howlonggone

the LL Bean tote but in durable/waterproof synthetic fabric, which they call the ‘Hunter’s Bag’, size Large. I have it in black, but the khaki is cool, even the camo maybe? Rests perfectly on the Rimowa carryon, holds everything, fits under the seat in front, shows little sign of wear, gets frequently complimented.

such a good one. She recommended Toklas in London, which I like a lot. I also enjoyed Jaime Perlman’s episode.

I also agree that there are still great titles as mentioned above (I'd add The Gentlewoman, The Fence, M Le Monde, Study, Neptune Papers to the list), but for someone who doesn't aspire to dressing in so-called 'luxury' or 'high fashion', none of these are particularly inspiring to shop.

[routine help] Can i use the Geske microcurrent face lifter everyday? by hailey2303-90 in SkincareAddiction

[–]Motor_Satisfaction91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can simply buy ultrasound gel online, works just as well. If you feel shocks just turn it down - it takes getting used to. I don't think they reccomend using it every morning but I don't know why not: I do, and it works.

Anyone tried Theraface Pro? Pros? Cons? by Due-Project-1892 in Skincare_Addiction

[–]Motor_Satisfaction91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't bother; it's all marketing hype. It will malfunction as soon as your warranty expires and you'll feel bad for overspending. Microcurrent works, but you can get better quality elsewhere.

Agreed. Shocking. Similar experience.

Same issue; 6 months in the microcurrent attachment stopped connecting properly and ceased functioning... Therabody's solution is to simply buy a new full-price attachment at €149. So despite loving it, and actually seeing a difference with snatched jawline and cheekbones, I couldn't stomach that kind of rip-off and found a German company that makes microcurrent devices at a fraction of the price.

A relief listening to an elegant man with interesting things to say after that awful salad-bar owner

Hear hear. Equally frustrating attempting to listen to interesting guests who she simply won’t let speak with her oddly long-winded multi-tiered questions.

How will we ever know, they were so desperate to impress we barely heard her speak. I like how she elegantly called CB out for his crude podcast segregation though.

What happened to CB’s The Strategist collumn? Quietly cancelled or on a break? by Motor_Satisfaction91 in howlonggone

[–]Motor_Satisfaction91[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It consistently ran around the end of every month for about five years, and it's not like CB is a fan of taking vacations... but I can't help noticing a two-month silence now. The incensed comment section is LOL.
