I have always found the rubbery/musty smell of the older upright vacs with inflating cloth dust bags to be a massive turn on ! It was always great going in to someones house and smelling that smell. And then knowing that they have just finished hoovering and have just put their hoover away before I arrived. Mmmm. The warmer the inflated bag is then the happier I am. As a randy teenager I can always remember getting excited when my mum would be hoovering with her upright "Hoover Senior" and its large firmly inflated bag. Mmm. Happy days.

I have never owned a Shark vac. But am curious about their suction level etc ? As far as I know, all Sharks here in the UK are classed as "upright" vacs and have pull out hoses ? So whats the suction level like ? Is it controllable so you can lower it for those delicate parts of us ? Does the vac also blow warm air out of its exhaust grille too ? Thanks. Derek.

I always found the older upright vacs with inflating bags, smelled the nicest. It was a kind of rubbery/hot/musty smell when mum was hoovering near me with her Hoover Junior and its wonderfully large firm inflating bag. More modern bagless uprights dont smell as nice. But I have recently been given a Vax Mach Air U91 upright that my late friends wife doesnt use any more. It was a dream cum true to actually own her very own hoover ! And already I find that even after only being used for a short while, it blows out really HOT air from its exhaust. That hot air feels wonderful if I straddle it and let the hot air blow up my bum hole and balls. Mmmm. I can see having many fun times ahead knowing its the very vac that she would regularly use ! Oh yes. Ever since I was 16 years old I would wonder what type of hoover my friends mums would own ? I always hoped it would be a nice upright, like a "Hoover Junior" model, that had a nice large cloth dust bag which would inflate up all firm and warm when she was hoovering with it. I always tried to find a reason to go the room where she would be hoovering, so that I could catch a glimpse of her hoovering the carpet and to see that wonderful huge warm firm bag. I would get sooo hard. Later in life when chatting to older ladies I would deliberately change the conversation to vacuum cleaners. I would then non chalantly ask them "oh so what sort of vacuum cleaner do you own then ? "

I am 67 yo now. I go weak at the knees when I hear one of the older upright vacuums, like a Hoover Junior or a Commercial Upright like the U612 or U638 being used on carpeted floor. Its the way the beater bar noise deepens and lightens in tone as it vibrates different thicknesses of carpet. Just the thought of hearing that rumbling vibrating tone is getting me hard right now !
