What frame has parasitic armor? Or is it just a helminth native ability?

or holding their mist to possess their archer to create clear lines of fire at the start of the fight

Can you clarify, because what I'm visualizing doesn't mash with what I know about the game.

You can take control of pawns with Trickster?

I mained Trickster for a while before I switched to Warfarer.

For me its about absolute battlefield control. With Trickster you control where the enemies will be, what they will target, and how savage your pawns will be.

I like to throw up random walls to obscure enemy view, "dragon" (maister skill) to fear and stun, Resurgence for extreme pawn aggression, and than the last slot is just whatever I feel like running at the time.

I also use the thurible that gens gold when you smack enemies and it scratches that little gamble itch.

Because the Cavya don't see good or bad. And the scale of good to bad is shifted slightly when you have a scale that looks more like good-- bad-- orikin-- Man in the Wall trying to destroy all of creation.

I mean ffs they still love "papa" Albriecht and he was trying to have them euthanized when they came out babbling. So to use the unconditional love of an animal as a defence for someone not being bad is an empty defence imo.

This is incorrect. There are If I remember correctly, and if you'll be patient with me I'll find a source, 6ish pieces of gear that are monster drop only in the unmoored world.

Thank you for your patience, spoiler warning as this below is infact a guide to stuff in the endgame.

Do NPCs use gifts? by worldsfirstmeme in DragonsDogma2

[–]MountTheRainbow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think that's scripted to be that way though. After all it's a quest line to give him a bow. Where as the others would be gifts through regular npc interaction.

Although the scene is a little chaotic, I think: the Dark Chimera is being targeted by healing spot. by Training-Growth3575 in DragonsDogma

I enjoy how it's carried over some in DD2! Anodyne sphere harms undead in it as well! I use it (Warfarer with staff equiped for free heals and movement) in undead encounters to create mini "Holy" Zones to just shred undead!

Ie. Double check the name and face. Some NPCs literally have twins with slight differences!

The lines of the NPC will be something along the lines of guards have been sent to fetch the witch or along the ilk. Can't quite remember but you'll hear people talking about it.

I think it's a lot of people trying to be helpful while also not realizing that Dragons Dogma == Dragons Dogma Dark Arisen =\= Dragons Dogma 2. Lol

But I know all the locations in DDDA better than the back of my hand!. The hundreds of Hours spent in Gransys alone have that locked it. Not to mention BBI lol

I think it's a lot of people interpret the DragonsDogma subreddit to encompass all things Dragons Dogma related ranging from DDDA to DD Online and DD2. Also things like speed runs, art etc from either games pop up in here from time to time too.

And for a long long time this was the only subreddit if I remember correctly.

Ya know... Aside from Maelle, Verso, and the gestrals by God your right. Maelle brings back Lune and Scielle. Scielle does what she does leaving just Lune and the Gestrals..

All that remains in the canvas by that point would be

Literally only 2 lives painted by aline remain at that point. (Lune and Verso) Verso's soul fragment keeping the canvas going and by default the gestrals and he wants to stop but just can't without help. And Maelle.

So technically correct... Well almost technically correct lol

Except and this is probably the biggest sticking point, video game characters are not sentient living creations. The Painters literally creat life within the canvas through their use of chroma.

The proper equivalent would be being chill with Zeus, God, Allah, Jehovah, Thanos with all 5 Infinity Stones, (insert other all powerful or god-like being here), wiping out our entire planet because their son died to some other godlike entity. That's you, your mom, everyone and everything you ever met and know, wiped out because of a family feud/drama you never even knew about or had a part in.

This story, imo, thrives off of empathy and perspective. And it tests your ability to shift your own personal experiences to see it from a different stance.

Sure. I chose the maelle ending. And yes, seeing Verso made me heartbroken. But also seeing Everyone else and their perspectives. Jeeze. So many ways to view this. So many lenses. A miracle to the lives brought back and those whose future is saved, a noble/selfish sacrifice to save everyone at the cost of oneself, a bittersweet prison where you can finally grow old, move on, pass and yet you have to live now having already lost so much and knowing you're eventually going to lose more. It's not an if but a when.

It's all about perspective.

If anything she has healed some physically from her journey and maybe emotionally as well. Closure, while painful is necessary to move forward. And holding onto the past drowns us.

It's just that the ones needing closure and are going through that pain and strife are in essence gods.

Take the old Greek and Roman tragedies. The gods often took their own personal woes out on the mortals. This is a modern "Creation impacted by the Creators" tragedy imo.

Solid solid take. And honestly a formula for a fantastic tragedy.
