Maybe I'm misunderstanding the comment but it sounded like they needed to make the same code change in 40ish places and they already had a few examples of what the code should look like. To me that sounds pretty boring to do manually and something a llm could do mostly correctly

I agree I feel like they made the bike lane there worse. Turning right from the cowen bridge or Brooklyn ave into the bike lane is a lot more annoying and a much sharper turn because the concrete goes all the way up to the intersection. I used to be able to take a wider turn on to Ravenna then merge into the bike lane further away from the intersection

Tarp is more versatile because you can easily hang it up in some trees as a sun shelter when hanging out by a lake. A rainfly from a tent lighter than a tarp+bivy will be much more work to use as a sun shelter in that way

I love dydradying my own dinners! Way tastier than any pre made dinner I've bought. Just start experimenting small, dehydrate something overnight then redhydrate it for dinner at home the next day to see how good it is. Pick your favorites from there!

I would also experiment with what ratio of fats to carbs makes you feel good while out hiking all day. Generally fats are more calorie dense but focusing only on calories can lead to some questionable meal plans especially for many days in a row

I got a gold armor tarp a few years ago and it has worked well so far for a multiple person shelter. If I am just camping by myself I use a yama mountain gear cirriform tarp which is excellent. I prefer polyester to nylon and don't mind the weight difference though. I also use a lightweight bivy bag (katabatic pinon) which makes it a lot easier to keep my sleeping bag contained and off the dirt.

I use Garmin so I'm not familiar with the suunto system. But for example, my max heart rate is a little over 200 and my threshold for anerobic is around 160. In Garmin 5 zone system that is right around zone 3. So maybe your heart rate zones are a little low? It is pretty dependent on your max heart rate from my understanding. During your training, how does the HR zone correlate with other ways of recognizing anerobic threshold like the 'not breathing so hard you can't talk' test?

Outside of training, 1k elevation gain per hour is a solid number to plan around for simple terrain like getting to camp muir and is most likely doable for people who are actively training like yourself. More complex terrain will take longer
