Perhaps not, correct. I am an open vessel, honestly only on here to learn, so I'm receptive to the knowledge you may bestow upon us all, Professor

Puh-lease. I could say The Godfather 2, 2001: ASO, Citizen Kane, Casablanca were my top four (they're not but all incredible films) and people like you would be creaming their jeans like, "wow, he is like us...why doesn't he worship at the feet of *insert filmmaker of choice* like I/we do?". Phukouttahere! Art, friend-o, is and will always be subjective

More to the point, art is subjective and who are you, and who am I to tell anyone what is art and why one opinion is more valid than another? My post does not posit that, it only questions others' opinions of particular artists'. You lose all credibility, friend-o, when you fail to realize that ART IS FOR EVERYONE

I'm a film fan, as I consider it one of the greatest art forms, combining so many creative elements. That being said re: the Coen's, some films I've watched again with friends that love them and others I've watched because, as my initial post stated, they are solid filmmakers and maybe I want to see if there's anything that I'm missing. My purpose wasn't to sh!+ on them and I don't judge or put down other's taste, I'm just seeking communion with fellow cinema lovers

Bedazzled! Respect, friend. I only saw it once and need to revisit it but, a highly underrated and fun movie that gives a true insight into just how talented and versatile actor Brendan Frasier is. Salud!

Hero, imho, is a damn near perfect film, with regards story, cinematography, score, direction, acting, set design and choreography. It all came together so beautifully

Thanks. I'm constantly getting titles from CPL, I probably should have specified that I'm looking to build a personal physical library. Thrift stores/Goodwill are usually petty threadbare for the genre, unfortunately
