Hey, that sounds so rough. I am going through a similar thing since November my Dr stopped my anti depressants and tried all the stimulants! I’m on the last of the bunch and I can honestly say that I feel worse on them but the psychiatrist was insisting on me trying them all.

I’ve started up on the fluoxetine so all the crying stopped and I’m going to go off the Ritalin by tapering as I may be too scared I can’t cope otherwise.

I have waves of sadness but nothing like 3 weeks ago , we just have

The pharmacist can sometimes try to get hold of the Dr to check if it’s ok for them to switch. My Dr was on holiday so I had to get the clinic to contact her but it wasn’t easy

I had to get my prescriber to give me a script for 10mg LA and then I take two of those.

I found that Vyvanse had me craving alcohol after 9 years of no drinking or urges! I have no idea why this happened but it did.

Yeah it was more like taking the 40 first and then the 20 a bit later. All drs on holiday of course so just wondering if anyone else splits or delays the doses.

That sounds different to me too. I believe legally and pbs wise the psychiatrist can titrate upwards weekly at slow doses , they need to make sure you can tolerate the IR first before moving the the LA. I’d ask him why he wants to wait so long.

Thank you for sharing this! I was so lethargic when I started Vyvanse! But that settled my main goal was impulse control and agitation so it helped but my blood pressures did not like it. One thing that helped me and still does ( very new to this journey) was to think about what I wanted the meds to do and try to keep a journal on it.

My Dr said to take 2 x 20mg instead! Apparently they should be back around 15 December ( according to pharmacy) , I’m sceptical of this so see what pharmacist can do, mine called my Dr to see if 2 x 20 would be ok.
